Professor Rebecca Ivers is Director of the Injury Division at the George Institute for Global Health, UNSW Sydney, where she directs a research program focusing on the prevention and management of injury. Her research interests focus on the prevention of injury and trauma care, with a particular focus on inequalities in injury, and the prevention of injury in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.

Rebecca has led research investigating road crashes in young people, and on designing and testing programs to help young people get access to essential services like driver licensing.

Rebecca will contribute to Stream 2, looking at the role of risk taking behaviours, and injury as well as better access to health care for young people at risk of injury.
